My very first animation, created with Adobe After Effects and Photoshop. By the way, CS5 kicks ass.

Graduation
Browsing between job openings for Account Managers for IT staffing companies, and creating original artwork they ways I know how, and the even more out of this world, snowboarding ,which I've mentioned before is the one time I feel I'm truly disconnected with the seemingly asinine requirements o the Business World, I find myself torn more so that even. While part of me draws me to find a job which fits my degree and to become a corporate stooge for some company that sells widgets or bombs, or pharmaceuticals, none of that truly appeals to me. All I want to do is be happy. and the odds of finding my nirvana in the average business world seems so remote that its depressing. Its times like these that I wish I could withdraw back into a world of say World of Warcraft, where things are simple, laid out, understandable. And I realize that's pathetic, but graduating from college (while a tremendous achievement in and of itself), presents a brand new plethora of "real world" concerns. How will I pay for my own car, my rent, support Chelsea? I'm sure these feelings will abate, especially when I find a job, but fuck, I want a job I can enjoy... is that so much to ask? Graduation doesn't seem to be all it's cracked up to be...

Omnipotence
So the other day I was thinking about the end of the movie Watchmen, when Dr. Manhattan says he is considering making some new life in a distant galaxy. I started to think of how one with the power to do so might go about doing it, and I stumbled across something strange.
Given the wars, human rights violations, conflict and confusion that belief in a God can cause, the KNOWLEDGE that a God existed, whether vengeful, kind, or completely uninterested in our lives, would cause conflicts of biblical proportions. Its an interesting paradox in my mind, but if God existed and was both omniscient and benevolent, it would behoove it to convince the life it had created that it did not exist. Perhaps it has seen the future of all possible universes and knows that if it reveals itself to humans, that it will ultimately lead to our demise, or at very least greater evil, however you define that.

Skater

Here is a picture taken by my good friend Samantha Gray. With permission I have posted a comparison of her fine work against a somewhat strange interpretation done by me. The first is her original, the second is mine.

Hooray!
Some more Capsim Shit
So here is some more crap for my Capsim Video. Its just the opening, and for the sake of not uploading 3 other videos, I just tacked on the 24 clocks to the end of it.

Eldo Footage
Here is one of the scenes from our upcoming Capsim Video for Wiseman's Strategic Management group, that I edited. If you don't understand wtf is going on, that's OK. to be honest I hardly do, and I directed it. But basically we are skiing with a character similar to our teacher, and basically kicking his ass at it.
